1. Introduction

Welcome to Leyner Jesus Castillo Guedez ("we," "our," or "us"), operating as GuaroDev. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS mobile application (the "App"). Our App is designed to work completely anonymously - no account creation, login, or authentication is required, and all your data (competitions, competitors, scores, and leaderboards) is stored locally on your device. Please read this privacy policy carefully.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Local Data Storage

Our App is designed to work completely offline and anonymously. All data you create in the app is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any third parties. This includes:

  • Competition Data: Competitions you create, including names, descriptions, rules, and settings
  • Competitor Information: Competitors you add, including names, photos, and other details
  • Score and Performance Data: Scores, rankings, and performance metrics for competitions and leaderboards
  • Photos and Media: Images you upload for competitions or competitors
  • App Settings: Your personal preferences and configuration settings

Sharing Leaderboards: You can share leaderboards using iOS's native share sheet (UIActivityController). When you share a leaderboard, it is exported as an image that you can share through any method available on your device (messages, email, social media, AirDrop, etc.). This sharing is handled entirely by iOS and does not upload any data to our servers or third-party services.

2.2 Analytics Information

We use a third-party analytics service to collect anonymous, aggregated analytics data to help us improve the app. Analytics is enabled by default, but you can disable it at any time. This data does not identify you personally and includes:

  • Device Information: General device type and iOS operating system version (no personal identifiers)
  • App Usage Events: Anonymous information about app features being used, including:
    • Competition creation events
    • Competitor creation events
    • Leaderboard sharing events
    • Competition completion events
    • Number of competitors per competition (aggregated)
    • Number of matches played (aggregated)
    • Number of results registered (aggregated)
    • Competition names (for understanding feature usage patterns)
  • App Performance: Technical data to help us identify and fix bugs

Important Privacy Notes:

  • We do not access or use the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA)
  • We do not show the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt because we do not track users across apps or websites
  • We do not collect IP addresses or location data
  • We do not collect any user identifiers or personal information
  • All analytics data is anonymous and aggregated
  • You can disable analytics data collection at any time through your device settings or by uninstalling the app

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 Local Data Usage

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, we do not have access to your personal information, competitions, or any other data you create in the app. Your data is used solely by the app on your device to:

  • Enable you to create and manage competitions
  • Add and manage competitors
  • Track and display scores, rankings, and performance metrics
  • Store and display photos you upload
  • Maintain your app preferences and settings
  • Generate shareable images of leaderboards when you use the share feature

Sharing Feature: When you share a leaderboard using the iOS share sheet, the app generates an image of the leaderboard on your device. This image is then shared through iOS's native sharing interface. We do not have access to what you share, who you share it with, or how you share it. All sharing is handled locally by your device and iOS.

3.2 Analytics Usage

We use a third-party analytics service to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data to:

  • Improve app performance and fix bugs
  • Understand which features are most useful to users
  • Analyze usage patterns (e.g., average number of competitors per competition, frequency of matches)
  • Enhance the overall user experience
  • Make informed decisions about future app improvements

All analytics data is processed by our analytics service provider. This data is anonymous, aggregated, and cannot be used to identify you personally. We do not use this data for advertising purposes or to track you across other apps or websites.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

4.1 No Personal Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transmit any of your personal data, competitions, competitor information, scores, or other content you create in the app to third parties. Since all your data is stored locally on your device, we have no access to it and cannot share it.

Leaderboard Sharing: When you use the share feature to share a leaderboard image, you are sharing it through iOS's native sharing interface. This sharing is entirely controlled by you and handled by your device. We do not have access to what you share, who you share it with, or any information about your sharing activities.

4.2 Analytics Data
